Massive Increase of Petrol Prices Expected From September 1

September 1 is expected to see a sharp rise in petroleum prices. Because the value of the Pakistani rupee is constantly decreasing compared to the US dollar.

The petrol prices increased by Rs. 12 per litre as the expected new petrol price is Rs. 302.45 and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) might get an increase of Rs. 15 per litre and the new expected High-Speed Diesel (HSD) price is Rs. 308.04.

While the current Petrol price in Pakistan is Rs. 290.45 per litre, and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) price is Rs. 293.40 per litre. As the Massive increase in Petrol Prices and Diesel prices from 1 September 2023.

However, given the strong concerns expressed by the public and the widespread protests across different parts of the country regarding high electricity bills, the temporary government is considering the possibility of reducing the projected increase in Petroleum Product prices.
