
The Petrol price in Pakistan again increased on 15 September 2023 due to after the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) raised the amount of money that petroleum dealers and oil marketing companies (OMCs) can make.
The caretaker Government has increased Petrol and Diesel prices by Rs. 3.51 per litre. The choice was made during a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) led by temporary Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar.
In meeting the discussion about the Petrol and Diesel prices hike on 15 September 2023, the amount of extra money OMCs can make from each litre of petrol and diesel was increased by Rs. 1.87. Petroleum dealers were allowed to make an extra Rs. 1.64 per litre.
on the 1st of September, the caretaker Government increased petrol prices up to Rs. 14.91 per litre and this time will increase Petrol prices to Rs. 3.51 per litre.
