Honda motorcycle lines have long been distinguished by two classic models: the Honda Monkey and Super Cub. Since they have evolved into a lifestyle fad for collectors and aficionados, they are no longer considered to be entry-level motorcycles. Honda has therefore announced improvements to these two storied cars for the US market in 2024.
Originally designed for use in Honda’s Tama Tech theme park in Japan, this little Honda Monkey was first presented in the 1960s. Due to its straightforward design, this charming bicycle has now become a well-known emblem all over the world.
This engine still has a cute appearance in 2024, but it incorporates contemporary technology. A 124cc, one-cylinder engine with high performance is included with the Honda Monkey 2024. Honda’s Programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) technology is used in Monkey machines to maximize efficiency, and the addition of ABS increases safety.
The Honda Monkey is available for the 2024 model year in Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Black colour schemes. The cost is 4,299 US dollars, or around Rp65.7 million, and it will be offered on the US market beginning in September 2023.
Honda Monkey 2024
The 2024 Honda Monkey, which debuted in the early 1960s for a Honda-owned Japanese amusement park named Tama Tech, stays true to its roots with features that Honda describes as “fun yet practical.”

A 5-speed transmission is paired with a fuel-injected, air-cooled 124cc single engine in the Monkey. It sports twin rear shocks with a 4-inch travel each and an inverted fork with 4.3 inches of travel. Braking on the Monkey is provided by a 220mm disc up front with ABS and a 190mm disc in the back.
The 231-lb curb weight, short overall height (30.5-inch seat height), and practical performance, according to Honda, combine to provide “an approachable, enjoyable riding experience for a wide variety of riders.” The 1.5-gallon Monkey’s reported mpg for the 2023 model was 169.
Starting at $4,299, the 2024 Honda Monkey will be offered in September in Pearl Nebula Red and a brand-new Pearl Black color.
Honda Super Cub C125 2024
The Honda Super Cub, which has been in production since 1958 and has sold over 100 million units worldwide, combines classic appearance with simplicity of use.
The step-through chassis, clutchless 4-speed transmission, and lightweight construction (238 lb curb weight), according to Honda, “inspire confidence,” while the air-cooled 124cc Single engine offers exceptional fuel economy and plenty of power for cruising around town.
The 2024 Super Cub sports twin rear shocks with 3.6 inches of travel, a 220mm front disc brake, and a 110mm drum brake in addition to a telescopic fork with 3.9 inches of travel. Front-wheel ABS, fuel injection, and an electric starter are further features. The Pearl Gray 2024 Honda Super Cub C125 will go on sale for $3,899.
